P.A.'L.A.N.T.E. Harlem was founded in 2008 for community members, created by a resident facing deplorable conditions in her building. P.A’L.A.N.T.E.’s goal is to end tenant exploitation by enabling low-income community residents to remain in their homes and to ensure that those homes are safe and affordable.
The grassroots organization has already been cited as a top not-for-profit for four consecutive years starting in 2014. Despite its successes P.A.'L.A.N.T.E. is still in its infancy and needs your support to continue its fight for tenant justice against landlords and property managers who are armed with scores of attorneys and a legal system that is often tilted in their favor.
If you believe in the work of P.A.'L.A.N.T.E. Harlem and its efforts as relentless advocates for residents who are often neglected or mistreated, a gift today will make an immediate impact.
